We're still here...

... life just got in the way.....

Truenorthgal and I have been up to our ears with work. Hey, at least we got work right? She tells me that the last entry she put up was just before she got back into the rat race. Hmm, that has been a while. Wow, it's been six weeks since that time and we've just reached the half year point of our first year being man and wife.

Truenorthgal also realized that today was the day she was supposed to use her return ticket. I could just imagine the tears that would have flowed if that happened. I would have probably asked for two weeks off work so I could come with her. We would still be hopeful that we could be together back here.

I'm just happy that we have reached this point that I could blog about it instead of it happening. It being my wife and I being apart again with no guarantee of us being together until a couple of years have passed. Ahh, hope springs eternal.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi to everybody and hope you still keep coming back. We have tried a couple more recipes but are just too lazy to type it up right now.
