So now you've graduated

To the new graduate, congratulations! After four to five years of college, you have finally tossed your cap and are starting anew. I hope all the effort you put in those years pays off with your first, second, third.... job. That or you may be thinking of taking some time off before you embark on your career. Hey, you may even think of heading back to school for your post-graduate degree/s. Then again you realize that with all the debt you incurred, you ought to look for a high paying job just to get rid of it! The lucky few who don't have much debt will probably head back to school to teach or to give back to the community for a couple of years. Good for you! Whatever you do, make sure you clean up that résumé and get rid of any skeletons in your closet. You never know what anybody can find on the net nowadays. Finally, if you've started your first job ever, think first before you buy that nice shiny toy or that fancy footwear that cripples you everytime yet you still want to wear them. One has to think about the future now.

oh, and may i add... invest in your future :) you don't have to miss a lot of parties, but know that you can do without some of them... invest on your health, on your own security, on what will make you happier for a far longer time...

and remember, you are the only thing you have, that you can offer and devote and give... so take care of YOU...
